Your Dad is the co-owner, not just co-signer. Co-signers do not need to have their name on the title, just the loan papers. You would need to get him to sign off the title. You don't say how old you are now. If you are not 18 yet, joining the military doe's not mean you are emancipated until you leave for boot camp. Your parents had to sign for you to join.
