Should I buy a Britax car seat?

I think britax is wayyy overkill. I mean, all carseats have to meet the same saftey regulations, so they *should* all be equally safe. From there, you really go up in quality in durability of the frame, fabric and comfort. To me, Britax is the escalade of carseats. They are amazingly nice & comfortable as well as large and have plenty of pluses like easily removable covers, table attachments and even cupholders. But to me, a GMC suv runs and feels just as good as a an Escalade, so why spend the price of a Cadillac? Especially since I can live without the heated seats (haha). The Britax are bulky, so unless you drive a spacious suv, I wouldn't recomend them. I drive a min-suv and was JUST able to fit my Graco carseat. Here's what I did. And the advice can be really helpful- for instance I wanted a particular carseat but I heard the straps are always uneven...but a poster explained it's just in the way you adjust the straps, it was an easily solved problem. The seats are also rated by stars in comfort level, ease of use, and saftey rating. There's TONS of info...really, go check it out.
