Why would the broncos choose to start tebow over orton?

Orton is having a career year. 20 tds 6 ints. why would you demote someone with those numbers? i love tebow but i dont think its right. i wouldnt mind him starting the last game, or getting more snaps under center but Orton doesnt deserve to be benched.
