Help with some questions on my new tank?

I know about the cycling stuff, I just want to ask, what kind of plants would be perfect for a 49 x 45.5 x 45.5 cm tank. I'm also planning to put a piece of bogwood there (Mopani M, JBL brand). And, I also bought some gravel which is already cleaned in the shop, but still make the water cloudy, will my filter remove the cloudiness in the water? Thanks
