MIL invited herself to my ultrasound - am I over-reacting or is she overstepping?

Let me start off saying I love my inlaws very much. They've always treated me like family, even when hubby & I were just dating. I feel like she has over-stepped several boundaries over the course of our relationship...she disinvited MY family from my dd's 1st birthday. She made a Dr appt for my hubby when I clearly told her I had things handled & I would make the appt after talking with him. She came to the appt with us. I felt like she was undermining me.

I attached a balloon to a flask with dry ice in it. Thus, the balloon became inflated with CO2. But after a day of being left in the room at room temperature, the balloon shrank. Because the gas was warmed, I umed that it would expand and make the balloon BIGGER, not SMALLER. why did this occur? I need a legit source too, if you can.

My super y alter ego and me?

Usually I'm a really shy, introverted, low-self esteem guy, who wears a serious loathsome "woe is me" face everywhere I go" so I wanted to change myself. Specifically I want to get this girl to like me. I'm in my senior year now. One day I was combing my hair after a shower back to its normal and usual style, but after drying off with a towel, I discovered a new look, one that seem to have changed my entire appearance somehow. So I tried experimenting with it a bit, and changed my facial expression from LSE with gles to y grin with cooler looking eyes without gles. So I wore that hairstyle to school the next day and through the course of the week, I've been getting a lot more attention from more girls at school which raised my confidence, which ultimately changed me into to a person with more self-esteem and gave me courage to be able to engage in a normal conversation with other people, which I was never able to do before. Should I buy a Britax car seat?

I think britax is wayyy overkill. I mean, all carseats have to meet the same saftey regulations, so they *should* all be equally safe. From there, you really go up in quality in durability of the frame, fabric and comfort. To me, Britax is the escalade of carseats. They are amazingly nice & comfortable as well as large and have plenty of pluses like easily removable covers, table attachments and even cupholders. But to me, a GMC suv runs and feels just as good as a an Escalade, so why spend the price of a Cadillac? Especially since I can live without the heated seats (haha). The Britax are bulky, so unless you drive a spacious suv, I wouldn't recomend them. I drive a min-suv and was JUST able to fit my Graco carseat. Here's what I did. Check out babysRus.com for different brands, they are rated and have comments by users. And the advice can be really helpful- for instance I wanted a particular carseat but I heard the straps are always uneven...but a poster explained it's just in the way you adjust the straps, it was an easily solved problem. I would choose becoming an RN versus an Ultrasound Tech. RN's has many different opportunities out there besides "bedside nurse". But u will have to get over the fear of bodily fluids unfortunately and u can not be lazy constantly going back and forth to take care of patients. A bedside nurse in the hospital i work for handles 3-4 patients per shift. U will not get bored at all w/ this career. I'm not sure how much an Ultrasound Tech's salary but an RN in the hospital i work at in Northern California starts at $38+. Having an ociate's degree is suffice enough to get hired as an RN. If ur aiming for RN Management positions then they will require a bachelors degree.

its not to early to use a tampon. For your very first time depending on your period you should use thin tampons. Read the instructions on the packet carefully. For your first time you might find the tampon doesnt go in as easy as you think. only when you first insert it you may rub vaseline on the tampon this acts as a type of lube and the tampon should slide in quite easily. Just remember to relax and if neccessary place a mirror between your legs and squat as you insert it on a slant pushing towards your lower back with the cord hanging out the tampon should be pushed all the way in. If its inserted properly you wont feel any discomfort if it feels awkward thats okay it will take some time to get used to. My son was born with meconium aspiration.. Has anyone experienced this? If so please help!!!?

My son was born with meconium aspiration on Saturday. They said he could have swallowed it a few days before birth because his nails and the cord were stained greenish. They put him on ventilator because he was breathing but not like he should. They also said he developed pneumonia and had a small sliver of a hole in his lungs where oxygen was leaking out. He was not a premmie or over due. I was 38 weeks and he was 9lbs 3oz. They took him off the ventilator on Sunday and he was fine till last night. They called and said his oxygen saturation dropped to the 80's when a healthy childs is in the 90's to 100 so they put him on oxygen. He is eating great but gets cranky. They said his stomach often gets large because he is breathing so fast and heavy that its filling it up with air and when he cries he doesnt have enough oxygen reserve to breath properly. They didnt tell me if its severe meconium or what, just that he will be ok. Very vague. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this and if you could share any experiences or anything information wise possible because Im so scared that something serious will happen to him. I have a bolt rusted onto the bottom of my bathroom sink faucet. I have tried to loosen it with a plumbing tool and lots of WD40 but it won't budge. I'm wondering if I paint hydrochloric or sulfuric acid onto the bolt, could this help loosen it? I read an answer about these acids to be careful mixing them with water so I'm wondering if I can thicken the acids by making a paste of cornstarch and water. I'll heat the cornstarch and water mixture till it's real thic, let cool, and then add the acid after. I'll then keep painting it on the bolt till the rust and metal dissolves enough to loosen it. I am putting on a new faucet so I don't care if any of the metal is ruined. I just need to get it apart without breaking my pedastal sink. Will these acids harm the porcelain of the sink? If I can mix my cornstarch solution and acid, should I follow the guideline of one answer I read to poor acid in slowly while stirring since water can make the mixture hot?

If I were able to run an ANOVA, say, the interaction would be ysed and its significance given. However, I can't work out how I can check the interaction between the variables having had to use non-parametric tests. Is there a way I should be looking at the differences between the variables, for instance, using those differences as new variables and running tests on those to see if the differences are significant? I suspect, given my small samples, that these interactions won't be significant, however for my thesis (PhD) it would be useful to discuss these interactions and to have an idea of their effect sizes too, so I do need to run a statistical ysis if I can. I am probably being very dense about this - and I thank you for any help you can offer.

I think you might want to wait. Think about how you would feel if that happened to you. How devastated you would be. My husband and I have been together for 12 plus years, married 7. We have 2 children together and a fairly happy life. In the past I've had extreme extreme mother in law issues. My issue is with facebook. He refuses, outright refuses to go on facebook. I don't give her the satisfaction of fighting with her anymore or even really fighting iwth my husband anymore over it. We as a couple choose to ignore her and go on with our happy lives. Lately i notice most of my friends husbands are on fb and write nice and cute things to eachother back and forth. The main reason why I want him to write this is because it will keep reinforcing to his mom and the rest of the family that we are happy and in love. Dvd to psp help?

i have a uk version psp, not the slim, model psp-1003k running firmware v3.73 and i cant get it to play dvd's. i can upload them ok but when it comes to playing them it starts to play and then i get a message that says this video cannot be played. i have tried using dvd fab,video9 and psp movie creator. music, pics go on fine and can be viewed but not the dvd's i upload. i have a 4g memory stick PRO duo installed and formatted using the psp format, is the firmware wrong for this model, i downloaded it using the network update and its the sony official, any help appreciated as it's doing my head in.

Cellulite after 40?

I have never had a problem with cellulite...that is until after I turned about 43. I started noticing cellulite on my legs. My weight has pretty much stayed about the same or perhaps gaining about 5 lbs. I wouldn't say I'm really overweight but could stand to lose about 30 to 40 lbs. Can anyone tell me why I am just now starting to see cellulite though? My guess is because of hormone changes. I've also noticed more of a change in my midsection...like more rolls of fat. Is my weight just shifting or what? I hate it! I've started noticing more cravings also. I do NOT want to gain tons of weight during menopause. Does age matter as much as size to you when it comes to transitioning your child from a car seat to booster?

My son is 2 1/2. He is very big for his age. He meets the weight requirement for a booster seat. (40 pounds) He is also almost 40" tall. His car seat is wearing badly. I need to get him something new. I am very tempted to get him a nice high back booster, but am finding it difficult because he is still so young. My 6 almost 7 (in a few days) month old daughter likes to fall asleep with a bottle in her mouth. I no longer feed because I am 4 and a 1/2 months pregnant with our second baby (Yes, quick I know) and my milk has turned back into colostrum. She wakes up in the middle of the night and the only thing that will put her back to sleep is a bottle. She doesn't take a pacifier and never has. Vermont, Machusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Delaware, etc. have over 20% Irreligious among the population. While other states, such as North Dakota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, etc. have very low irreligious people. So my question is why? Is it totally due to the density of the wealthy, liberal, and highly educated people of those states? The reason this intrigues me is because most northern states were founded on religious properties. I've tried to sell them to gamestop, my local trading shop and even the pawn broker. Nobody wants these games, I don't have them at hand but they were generally popular for their time, some from XBOX and some from Ps2. An example of two of the games are Dragonball Z: Budoki (however it's spelled) and Marvel Nemesis: Rise of The Imperfects. There are many more like that but most aren't in their original packages... Right now I am using a cleaning kit to clean my TV/PC Screens. The cleaning kit is made by Rocketfish, I think I got it at Best Buy. Anyways it came with a microfiber cloth and the solution, they both do a horrible job.
